Hello,

I am Adam, and I'm working in Water Supply Museum in Bydgoszcz (Poland). One of our historic building is Pumping Station from 1900 year.
Next year we will celebrate the 120th anniversary of the municipal water supply in Bydgoszcz. For this reason, we would like to create a computer animation for gas engines that operated in our station from 1900 to 1936. Unfortunately, we have only 1 picture and 1 plan of these engines. We know that it was produced by Deutz. And that's all.
We would like to ask you for help in determining the type of these engines and indicating possible sources, literature, which would help us to prepare such animation.

I'm sending pictures in attachment. Thank you in advance for your help.

Adam

Deutz delivered in 1899 2 suction gas engines (50 hp each) of their standard type and two horizontal quadruple acting twin-plunger pumps, plunger diameter 260 mm, stroke 500 mm, 60 rpm. One pump delivered 2650 liters/min. with a head of 48 meters. For more information you can send me a private mail.
